Selection Committee Application: Open September 5th – 20th, 2018.
Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is seeking a small group of Minneapolis residents who can assist in the selection process of the new Superintendent. The selection committee will be made up of 5 people from a variety of backgrounds who can lend additional perspective that takes into account information gained in the community listening sessions as well as operational fitness.
The work of this committee is highly confidential and all committee members will sign a confidentiality/non-disclosure agreement in order to participate. All applicants must apply on their own and a substitute may not be sent in the event the selected party’s plans change. MPRB and kpCompanies reserve the right to choose another committee member from the pool of original applicants based on need.
No formal education is required, however, experience with parks, HR, management, administration, safety, recreation, budgeting, diversity/inclusion, and boards are helpful. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com
